The International Migration Law and Legal Affairs Department has been established to streamline and strengthen IOM’s involvement in international migration law (IML). The objective of the Department is to increase awareness and knowledge on IML and contribute to a better understanding of the legal instruments that govern migration at the national, regional and international level.
