IOM in Brazil

On 18 August 2015, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Dilma Rousseff enacted Decree No. 8,503 regarding IOM’s legal position in the country, granting privileges and immunities.

This decree has allowed IOM to open an office in the country to carry out activities.
