Communities around the world have responded to COVID-19 with strong cooperation and solidarity. Some, however, have found in it a pretext to scapegoat foreign nationals and the most vulnerable, blaming them for the virus’ spread.
Designed by and for IOM field staff, Community Response also allows users to record short interviews to capture authentic stories, raise awareness on key issues and demonstrate the impact of projects in the field.
Community Response Map (CRM) is a feedback platform which facilitates online tracking, compilation and visual mapping of communications received by target communities. This tool has been developed by IOM to enhance community engagement and two-way communications.
The Security Communications and Analysis Network (SCAAN) is a collaboration project being designed and developed by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and Sheffield Hallam University’s CENTRIC.
