Safaa, 9, has been living in displacement with her family for two years. She is currently living with her family in Chamakor camp for displaced Iraqis, east of Mosul. “We used to live in Zummar [Ninewa]; we had a house. Today we are drawing, so I am going to draw a car, and a house with an Iraqi flag flying on top of it. It will be like the home that we left in Zummar,” said Safaa.
