The International Organization for Migration (IOM) serves the needs of an estimated 281 million migrants worldwide, in addition to the uncounted hundreds of thousands of people who cross borders irregularly each year, including those who may have been trafficked. Additionally, Member States have called upon IOM to support a significant proportion of the estimated 71.1 million internally displaced persons across the world (IDMC, GRID 2023). The IOM Annual Report 2022 offers an overview and key data about the work and impact of the Organization.
