Led by the Chief of Staff, Mohammed Abdiker, this office is responsible for managing the Organization and has overall responsibility for the formulation of policies and oversight of activities to ensure coherence with strategic priorities. The Office comprises those units and functions that provide advisory services and/or direct support to the whole Organization. The Office of the Chief of Staff directly supervises:

IOM Organizational Structure
IOM Headquarters, based in Geneva, serves as the central hub for the organization, leading the formulation of institutional policy, guidelines, and strategy, as well as overseeing standard-setting, quality control procedures, and oversight.
