Reporting directly to the Director General, the Office of Strategy and Organizational Performance, under the leadership of Kim Eling, plays a pivotal role in supporting and advising the IOM Leadership Team. Its primary functions include crafting IOM's strategic plan and its organization-wide implementation, periodically assessing progress, and leading efforts to establish robust planning, risk management, and monitoring policies, processes and information systems.
The Office of Strategy and Organizational Performance is instrumental in steering IOM's transition from project management to program management, emphasizing judicious, efficient, and effective resource utilization. This office comprises:
